Lo La Lé Paris : Haute couture bags and unique pieces
Born in Edéa, Cameroon, Frédéric Mangin loves the vibrant colors of flowers and nature. In 1971, his family returned to France and settled in Annecy, on the shores of the lake in Haute-Savoie, where he went to school. He later trained in the hotel and restaurant industry.
Like his grandmother and his mother, he has a passion for sewing. Thus, he moved to Paris, where luck smiled on him.
Mademoiselle Carven hired him as an assistant in her Haute Couture house at the Rond-Point, then at Philippe Venet, where he remained until it closed. At that point, Frédéric Mangin accepted a position in the licensing department for Japan at George Rech, from 1996 to 1999, where he even created lines of tableware. From 2002 to 2010, at Marillage/Pronuptia, he designed wedding dresses.
In 2010, he opened his own fashion house, Lo La Lé Paris, and added a line of haute couture bags, each one a unique piece.
